Showcase Comics
ShowcaseComics was created over seven years ago, as a place to showcase my artwork, writing, comics and webdesign. It has evolved a lot from the first incarnation. For a while, I played around with its function, using it to display other people's art, or keeping it purely for artwork instead of webdesign as well.
Eventually however, I decided to return SC to its roots, as being purely a domain that showcases my work. There are well over 200 pieces of art on the domain, with many more to come!
Suzanne Fleming
An artist/author currently freelancing in the creative arts. She has done professional work as a comic colourist and a graphic designer. Has been influenced by a wide range of artists and writers, both online and off.
She graduated from the University of Wales in 2006, with a 2:1 BA English and Creative Writing degree. Since then she has spent a lot of time in the USA with her fiancee, and in between worked odd jobs.
Her professional work includes: Colourist for NDP Comics, illustrator and designer for a Soft Contact Lens information leaflet that has been picked up by Opticians across England, and the production of various inhouse communications in her brief stint as a Customer Service Manager. She also has worked as a webdesigner for Rockschools and Musicschools: guitar based schools around Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
She has also produced many commissioned artworks and websites.
Tools: Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, Painter Classic, mechanical pencil, any black pen that does the job, and lots of patience.
